- 4 slices of Macknight Smoked Salmon
- Crisp, Dry Lettuce Leaves
- 1 Tablespoon of Drained Capers (optional)
- Finely Chopped Spring Onion (optional)
- Chopped Egg (optional)
Prepare a simple salad using crisp lettuce leaves, sliced Radishes, Cucumber and Watercress.
Perhaps you could add a tablespoon of drained capers, a finely chopped spring onion or a little chopped egg.
Take 4 slices of Macknight Smoked Salmon and slice into strips about 1/8 of inch, a technique known as Julienne.
Add a little olive oil and balsamic dressing to the salad (3 parts olive oil and 1 part Balsamic). My personal favorite at the moment is Costco Kirkland Signature brand together with their Balsamic. Toss the salad in the dressing and serve onto plates.
Sprinkle the Julienne Salmon on top of the salad and dressing and serve. A delicious appetizer or can be your entrée. Just one ounce of salmon per person is all you need for this delightful dish.
